MESONERA XX is the half-sister to our own NAPOLITANA through their sire, and on her dam's side also to CARACOL XXIV, Calificado stallion and Reserve Champion of Spain, SICAB 2006. Both horses are out of CARACOLA XII, one of Antonio Diosdado's most consistent producer of Champions. CARACOLA herself comes through the fantastic MIURA bloodlines via PANADERO VIII (LEBRIJANO III), sire of both Olympic Silver Medal winner INVASOR II, as well as internationally renowned GAUCHO III (see QUESESA).

MESONERA'S sire is none other than SALINERO XV, by Romero Benitez stallion ENOJADO II, descendent of BATURRA VIII (Champion Mare of Spain), the famous LEVITON and back to the JENSON line of the Yeguada Militar.

MESONERA has herself consistently produced superior offspring with exceptional movement and in June 2010 produced our first foal from JOCOSO LVIII, our young black Champion stallion.  The resulting colt is absolutely outstanding, see MESONERO NVW on our Young Stock page. MESONERA was gifted to Krystal McCutcheon of CDI Dressage/The Spanish Stud in January 2012, to breed potential Grand Prix horses and we are all very excited about the prospects ahead!
