Our Stallions

Our horses have won many prizes over the years, including our stallions.  The most important criteria for us, when selecting a good stallion, is Type, Movement and Temperament. This is the only criteria we use to select a stallion that is good enough to cover our Champion and Calificado mares.

We are lucky enough to have the only Calificado stallion in the UK who is also one of less than 30 black Calificado graded PRE stallions in the world.  This elevated breeding status allows his progeny to be registered into the Stud Book when reproduced by AI.  The Calificado status requires significant assessment by a panel of specially selected Judges in Spain and covers three separate sections which are a complete Clinical assessment including a full set of clean x rays, Conformation assessment and Ridden assessment.  HABANERO achieved this Classification when he was only 5 years old.

Our younger black stallion, JOCOSO, is unique in the World, being a son of the International dressage stallion, OLEAJE and the only black stallion produced by the Romero Benitez stud farm in the world. He has a fantastic future ahead of him in the dressage world and is developing into a very sensible and beautiful horse. By his fifth year, he was already a Multi Champion in morphology, both as a colt and an adult horse and his future now lies in competition dressage.

The stud also has one of the very few sons of EVENTO  in the UK, ENOJADO who was also bred by the Romero Benitez stud farm and trained at the Royal School Jerez by Ignacio Ramblas who rode his sire in the Atlanta Olympic Games in 1996.  EVENTO is highly revered in Spain as the first Spanish horse to ever represent Spain at Olympic level competition.

And, our own homebred black stallion, SAETILLANO NVW, who achieved Multi Champion status in morphology before he was even 3 years old.  He also has a superb ability for competition dressage and this is where his future lies.
